Terms of delivery

All prices are final prices, which include statutory VAT.

Goods already in stock with the vendor will be shipped – unless otherwise stated in the offer – within two working days after receiving an order.

With goods not in stock, the delivery time can take up to two weeks from receipt of order.

You can determine whether or not the goods are available from the text of the offer. If there are no details given about the stock or delivery times, the delivery times for goods in stock will apply. Part-deliveries are permissible unless the customer has no discernible interest in them or they would be clearly unreasonable. Reasonableness applies if

  • the part-delivery can be used by the customer within the scope of the contractual designated purpose,
  • the delivery of the remaining goods ordered is ensured and this will not cause the customer any substantial extra work or additional costs (unless the vendor is willing to accept these costs). The costs of transport and packaging are only charged once with part-deliveries.

In the event of an ordered item not being available, the vendor reserves the right to render a service equivalent in quality and price (goods or service) insofar as this is reasonable for the customer and the latter agrees to the replacement in writing. If this is not possible or should the customer not agree, the vendor may not render the promised service. In this instance, the statutory provisions shall apply.

We ship with DHL Premium instead of DHL Economy. This means that deliveries are usually twice as fast as with DHL Economy.

Please note: A delivery to a PO box is not possible!

Information

These General Terms and Conditions shall apply, inasmuch as they are bound by contract and failing other explicit arrangements in the text of the offer, to all deliveries and services of the vendor.

Formation of the contract

By placing your order you make a binding offer to us to enter into a contract with you. By emailing you an order confirmation or by delivering the goods ordered, we are able to accept this offer. Initially, you will receive e-mail confirmation of receipt of your order at the email address you have given us (order confirmation). The contract of sale does not come into effect, however, until our order confirmation is sent to you by email or the goods ordered are delivered.

To order one or more items via the online shop, the items must first be earmarked for order by clicking on the "Add to Shopping Basket" link. At the Shopping Basket (which you can access any time via a link in the navigation), after clicking on the button “To checkout” you will be guided through the ordering procedure, where each step is explained to you and you are prompted to supply the required data.

When you order via our online shop, the ordering procedure (To checkout) consists of seven steps. In the first step you select the goods you require. In the second step you select your type of order (as a guest or as a registered user). In the third and fourth step you enter your billing information and shipping details with a different delivery address if required. In the fifth step you choose your method of shipment. In the sixth step you choose how you would like to pay (payment information). In the last step you have the option of rechecking all the details (e.g. name, address, payment method, items ordered) and correcting them where necessary before sending us your order by clicking on "Buy".

The ordering procedure is successful once the payment process has been successfully completed. The ordering procedure is complete once you click on "Buy" at step seven. This constitutes the customer’s offer to conclude the contract, which the vendor may accept within fourteen days after receipt.

Saving of the contract text

We will save the text of the contract for your order. We will also send you order confirmation, as well as delivery confirmation including all the order details, to the email address you have given us.

Recognising and correcting input errors

To recognise and prevent input errors during the ordering procedure, the customer will receive an overview page displayed for control purposes before the effective order, with the aid of which the customer can check the details of the order and correct the data entered in the text boxes themselves or by using the "Back" button on the website.

The language of the contract is German.

Legal venue, choice of law

The legal venue for all disputes arising in connection with the delivery transaction, unless otherwise agreed, is the head office of the vendor. This is stipulated in the event that the customer is a trader, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law or, though a consumer, does not have a general legal venue in Germany or took up residency abroad after concluding the contract or the customer’s place of residence at the time an action was brought cannot be determined.

The contracting parties are in agreement that with respect to all the legal relations arising from this contract the law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods of 11 April 1980 (CISG).

Passing of risk

If the customer is a consumer, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the item sold shall not pass to the consumer, even with sale by shipment, until the item is surrendered, irrespective of the method of shipment.

The statutory warranty periods shall apply. If a guarantee is given in the offer, the statutory warranty shall remain unaffected hereby.

Cancellation advice

Consumers have a cancellation right in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose that cannot be primarily attributed to their commercial activity nor their independent professional activity:

Cancellation right

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without stating any reasons.

The revocation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party appointed by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the final goods.

To exercise your cancellation right, you must provide us (SIMBA-DICKIE-Vertriebs-GmbH & Co. KG, Werkstraße 1, D-90765 Fürth, Tel.: +49 (0)911 - 9765 - 156, email: service@simba-dickie.com) with a clear declaration (e.g. by letter sent by post, fax or email) about your decision to revoke this contract. For this, you can use the enclosed sample cancellation form, although this is not obligatory.

Alternatively, you can also complete electronically the declaration of cancellation on our website and send this to us. If you opt to do this, we will send you a confirmation immediately (for example, by e-mail) of receipt of such a cancellation.

Timely postage of the notification for exercising the right of cancellation is sufficient for complying with the cancellation deadline.

Consequences of the cancellation

When you cancel this contract, we must pay back to you all payments that we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs that arise from your selection of a different form of delivery to the one offered by us for the most economic standard delivery), without delay and, at the latest, within fourteen days from the day on which the notification of your cancellation of this contract is received by us. For this repayment, we use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless something else was expressly agreed upon with you; in any event you will be charged fees for this repayment. We can refuse to repay until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof that you have sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must send back or return the goods to us without delay and, in any event, at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which you notify us about the cancellation of this contract. The deadline shall have been met provided you send off the goods before the fourteen day deadline has expired.

You bear the direct costs for the return shipment.

You only need to pay for a possible loss in value of the goods, where an inspection of the condition, characteristics and function of the goods confirms that this is due to your failure to handle the goods properly.

End of the information about cancellation advice.

Article number: 510025766 Product: 1:56 Char B1 Bis The "Char de Bataille" B1 was the main battle tank used by the French army during the Second World War. The original design was conceived in the mid-1920s (many technical solutions adopted, such as the large exposed tracks, are indeed typical of that period), but it began to be deployed to units only in the mid-1930s. Sturdy and massive, it was improved in its "bis" version to enhance performance and operational capability. It was armed with a 47mm turret cannon and a 75mm howitzer installed in a casemate at the front of the tank. Although it was generally a good tank for the period, the Char B1 bis was employed to support infantry divisions rather than in autonomous armored groups that would have provided greater operational flexibility against German Panzer divisions during the 1940 Campaign in France. Article number: 510025754 Product: 1:56 Cromwell MK. IV The Cromwell tank was developed during the Second World War by the British Army to replace the outdated Crusader in the role of "Cruiser Tank." The Cromwell was characterized by its very high speed, which could reach over 60 km/h, and great manoeuvrability. While speed was often limited to prevent excessive wear on the tank's mechanics, especially its suspension, it was balanced with decent armor and good armament. The main 75mm gun mounted in the turret was powerful enough in engagements against similar armored vehicles and could use the same ammunition as other Allied tanks like the American Sherman. Additionally, the Cromwell effectively served in the close support role for infantry. Detailed plastic kit   Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

Article number: 510025768 Product: 1:56 Italienische Panzer & Semoventi The production of Italian tanks during the Second World War focused on the "M" series. The M-13/40 was the most famous and widely used tank of the Royal Army. Equipped with a 47mm cannon, it was notable for its unique track and suspension structure and for the protective "bolted" armor. On its chassis, the self-propelled gun M-40 was also developed. Armed with a 75mm howitzer mounted in a casemate, it was greatly feared by enemy armored vehicles. The best results were achieved through the combined use of M-13/40 tanks accompanied by self-propelled guns, which compensated for the tank's limited firepower. Throughout the war, both tanks and self-propelled guns saw improvements in technical solutions and armament. Detailed plastic kit   Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

In February 1943, to replace the now outdated KV tanks, the first prototype models of heavy tanks intended to equip the armored units of the Red Army were produced. The most notable of the tanks developed to counter the new and heavily armored German vehicles, such as the Tiger and the Panther, was the Joseph Stalin JS-2. Armed with the powerful 122 mm cannon installed in a centrally mounted turret, it was characterized by a cast steel hull, heavy armor, and the adoption of a 12-cylinder diesel engine with over 600 HP. The overall weight of the tank was 46 tons. It was employed in the battles that led to the recapture of Ukraine, operational activities in Hungary, and, in the final phase of the conflict, during the Battle of Berlin. It was one of the most powerful tanks used by the Soviet Union during World War II.

Article number: 510025759 Product: 1:56 M8/M20 Greyhound At the beginning of World War II, the U.S. Army had lightweight and lightly armed vehicles, called "scout cars," for advanced reconnaissance activities. Developed during the war, the M-8 Greyhound armored car, characterized by increased protection and heavier armament, represented a turning point for the American army. The vehicle provided greater operational flexibility and could be more effectively used to support ground troops thanks to the 37mm cannon installed in the turret. First used on the Italian front, from Monte Cassino to Anzio, it later participated in the D-Day operations in June 1944. Although the terrain in Normandy proved challenging and demanding during the initial phases of the operation, later on the M-8 was particularly appreciated for its speed of movement and versatility in deployment. The M-20 version was developed from the M8 version for Military Police duties and command vehicle roles. Detailed model kit   Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

J/L/M/N The development of the medium tank Panzerkampfwagen III began in the mid-1930s, with the intention of making it the backbone of the armored units of the Wehrmacht. It was a key player in the Blitzkrieg and the early stages of the Second World War. Over time, in its various produced versions, it adopted a more effective main armament. Starting from the 37mm of the early production series, it was equipped with cannons ranging up to 75mm in caliber, enabling it to counter superior armored vehicles. Throughout the war, it was also upgraded in armor and often fitted with additional protections to increase its battlefield resilience. However, starting from 1943, the technological gap compared to adversary tanks progressively led to the replacement of the Panzer III with more modern and heavily armed vehicles. The Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger I is undoubtedly one of the most famous tanks of World War II. It was developed to provide the armored divisions of the Wehrmacht with a heavily armored and heavily armed tank to complement the more common medium tanks, Panzer III and Panzer IV, which were no longer effectively countering enemy tanks. Its primary armament consisted of the renowned and lethal long-barreled 88mm KwK 36 L/56 anti-tank gun. Installed in the turret and protected by a heavy 120mm shielding, it could penetrate the armor of any contemporary enemy vehicle even at long distances. Deployed on all major theatres of operation, it played an active role in German military operations in Normandy and the Western Front. Despite facing issues of reliability and deployment, the heavy tank, when operated by skilled crews, was always greatly feared by the Allied forces. Detailed Plastic Kit   Warning! On the Eastern Front, encounters with the more powerful and innovative Soviet tanks led to an expansion of its role, transitioning from supporting infantry squads to serving as an effective anti-tank armored vehicle. Simple and cost-effective in construction, it was one of the most produced vehicles by German industries until the end of the war. With the introduction of the "G" version specialized in the anti-tank role, the version armed with a 105 mm howitzer (Sturmhaubitze 42) was also introduced.   Warning! It was deployed as a direct response to the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks on the Eastern Front, which were superior to both the Panzer III and Panzer IV in terms of performance and armaments. Powered by a 700 horsepower V-12 Mayback engine, it was armed with the 75 mm KwK 42 high speed gun which was a very effective anti-tank weapon. The Panther was designed with optimal armor protection, including inclined front armor. It was developed during the ’20s and ‘30s by Rheinmetall and Krupp, one of the main artillery companies in Germany, with a view to optimizing resources and technological capabilities within the parameters imposed by the Treaty of Versailles. From 1933 onwards, Germany's rearmament planning became ever more ambitious, with a particularly significant increase in the production of howitzers and field cannons. The SFH18 had a simple and reliable structure with a maximum range of 13.5 km. It could be divided into two sections and towed by horses, or more often during the war, by half-tracks. The SFH18 had a seven-man crew. A 105 mm calibre version was developed on the same carriage, (sK 10,5 cm)which was characterized by the longer barrel, but was produced in few specimens as much heavier than the standard 105 mm leFH18, which was the field artillery cannon supplied to the Wehrmacht. The Grumman Corporation developed and designed the A-6A, based on U.S. Navy specifications, a twin jet-engine all-weather medium attack aircraft able to operate from the American aircraft carriers. The so called "Intruder" was characterized by a sturdy and robust fuselage and for the two seats side by side cabin configuration for the pilot and the weapons officer. The A-6E was the definitive attack version of the "Intruder" improved in avionics and attack systems, in particular in the version named TRAM, from the acronym of the laser target designation system, that allowed to be more effective to perform "all weather" missions and to be more lethal in detection and suppression of enemy targets. Thanks to its hardpoints under the wing the A-6E Intruder was able to load an impressive offensive armament as conventional bombs, Paveway laser-guided bombs, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, HARM anti-radar missiles. It actively participated either from ground bases or from the carriers of the U.S. Navy, to Desert Storm campaign combat missions. Detailed Plastic Kit of model A-6E Tram Intruder in scale 1:700

Within the overall strategic planning of the acclaimed operation "Overlord", the code name for the Allied landings on the beaches of Normandy, the French village of Sainte-Mère-Église played a key role. On battle plan maps it was rightly identified as an important road junction that the defending Germans could have used to carry out rapid counter attacks directed towards the Utah and Omaha beacheads. It was therefore strategically imortant to attack and quickly occupy the village with American airborne troops to support the landings. In the early hours of June 6, 1944, paratroopers of the famous 82nd and 101st US Airborne Divisions secured the small French town following a period of intense fighting. The contribution made by the American paratroops has been widely recognised and celebrated in numerous movies from "The Longest Day" made in the 1960s, to the most recent "warmovies". This major offensive launched by the Soviet Red Army, after passing the German defensive lines on the Oder River, moved directly to the capital of the Third Reich. The city itself was defended by Wehrmacht, Waffen-SS, "Hitlerjugend" and "Volkssturm" soldiers, and was the setting for the final and most fierce clashes of the war. The Soviet forces, led by Marshal Zhukov and Marshal Konev, with an overwhelming superiority of soldiers, vehicles and artillery, forced the surrender and capitulation of the city on May 2, 1945. The Reichstag building, seat of the Reich parliament, had a huge symbolic value and was the stage for the final acts of the conflict in Europe. The Red Army soldier raising the Soviet flag on the ruins of the Reichstag at the end of the battle of Berlin, is one of the most iconic images of the Second World War. Wellington considered the farm of La Haie Sainte a strategic point of his defensive line. In the afternoon, Napoleon ordered to Marshal Ney to launch the assault to the farm in order to obtain a significant outpost. The farm was strenuously defended by Allied troops, that had fortified the buildings since the morning. The clash was fierce and the French troops, supported by artillery, were able to conquer La Haie Sainte only in the late afternoon.
