Italeri F-16C Fighting Falcon War Thunder brings one of the most recognizable modern combat aircraft into a 1:48 scale model kit with the sharp proportions, single-seat layout and clean fighter profile that define the original jet. The F-16 shape stands out through its frameless bubble canopy, a feature developed to give the pilot broad visibility, and that distinctive silhouette carries straight into the finished display model. The real aircraft was developed in the late 1970s as a day fighter for the United States Air Force before evolving into an all-weather multirole platform, and that background gives this subject a wide operational character. The F-16 is known for a side-mounted control stick, fly-by-wire control system and modern avionics, details that make it a landmark design in military aviation history. Armament on the full-size aircraft includes a 20 mm M61 Vulcan internal cannon, while hard points allow a broad weapons fit with missiles and bombs. This edition also adds new parts and a super decals sheet for 6 versions, opening up different liveries, unit markings and finishing choices during the build.
