How does an RC transmitter work?
The concept is simple: you send commands via the remote – for example, accelerating or steering left. These commands are transmitted by radio to the receiver inside the model. The receiver converts the signal and forwards it to small motors called servos. These then carry out the movement – for example, by turning the wheels or adjusting a wing’s control surface.
Modern 2.4 GHz technology ensures that signals are transmitted reliably. Interference from other devices or models is rare. Standard models typically reach up to around 100 meters, high-end units significantly more.
What should be considered when binding?
- Activate bind mode on the receiver (via jumper or button)
- Put the transmitter into bind mode (e.g., via menu)
- Start the binding process and verify connection
Important: Many high-quality systems offer a failsafe function. If the signal is lost, the model automatically switches to a safe state – for example, by stopping the motor. This prevents uncontrolled driving or flying. High-grade Carson systems provide stability, safety, and maximum real-time control.
What else do you need?
