Italeri Ford Escort RS 1800 Mk.II 1:24 Kit

The Italeri Ford Escort RS 1800 MK.II Lombard brings a landmark rally car into 1:24 scale with the crisp, angular shape that defined the second-generation Escort. At 16.7 cm long when completed, the model gives the compact competition car enough presence for a shelf, cabinet or motorsport-themed display while keeping the proportions of the original RS 1800 clear. This assembly kit is based on the Ford Escort Mk 2 introduced in 1975, a major evolution of the earlier Escort formula with updated squared styling and the proven mechanical foundation carried over from the Mk 1. Within that line-up, the RS 1800 was the dedicated version developed for rally competition, and the Lombard theme connects the build to the RAC Rally years that shaped the car's reputation. The extra catalogue super decals sheet expands the finishing stage with event markings, sponsor graphics and period-specific visual details that help define the competition look. With a stated assembly time of 600 minutes, the build offers room for careful preparation, painting and decal work across the body and trim. The finished replica suits display alongside other 1:24 motorsport subjects, and it also fits naturally into a focused rally collection built around historic championship cars from the 1970s and early 1980s.
