Italeri Ford Escort Mk.II Model Kit 1:24

The Italeri Ford Escort Mk.II model kit in 1:24 scale brings a key car of 1970s rally history to the workbench in a finished length of 16.7 cm. Its squared body design reflects the second-generation Escort launched in 1975, giving the build a distinct period character that reads clearly from the first test fit to the final painted shell. This kit focuses on the Ford Escort Mk.II as a detailed plastic build, making the shaping, finishing and painting stages part of the appeal. The source vehicle evolved from the Escort Mk 1 while retaining proven mechanical foundations, and that heritage gives the replica a strong mix of familiar compact proportions and sharper 1970s styling. The Escort line covered 3 body styles and 5 engine types in full-scale production, adding useful context to the model's place in the wider range. Alongside standard road versions, Ford also developed sport-focused variants, including the RS 1800 created for World Rally Championship competition. With an assembly time of 600 minutes, this kit suits builders who enjoy a longer project with room for careful paint application and motorsport-inspired finishing. Paints are required separately. Once completed, the 16.7 cm model fits naturally into a display of classic road and rally cars while also offering a satisfying build centered on one of Ford's best-known compact performance shapes.
