Italeri RSO/PaK 40 1:35 Plastic Model Kit

The Italeri RSO/PaK 40 in 1:35 scale brings a distinctive tracked anti-tank vehicle into model form, combining the compact Raupenschlepper-Ost chassis with the long 7.5 cm PaK40 cannon. The open fighting compartment, angular shield plates and low hull give the finished replica the unmistakable silhouette of a wartime field conversion built for demanding Eastern Front conditions. The full-size vehicle was developed from the Wehrmacht's tracked tractor series, created to handle transport and towing duties in harsh terrain while moving loads such as ammunition and supplies. Steyr built most RSO vehicles and also developed this anti-tank version as a simple, cost-effective fighting machine. That background gives the model a strong historical identity beyond its gun profile alone. The kit's glueable rubber tracks reproduce the continuous tracked layout that made the RSO suitable for rough ground, while the included new decals sheet allows 3 different finishing versions drawn from 1944 and 1945 service markings.
