Italeri AMX-T Twin Seater Model Kit 1:72

The Italeri 1:72 AMX-T Twin Seater brings the lines of the Italian and Brazilian AMX programme into a detailed aircraft build with a two-seat cockpit layout, swept wings and the compact proportions of the original ground attack jet. As a plastic assembly kit, it focuses on the shape, markings and finishing work that give this aircraft its distinct presence on the shelf. The subject is the AMX-T, the twin-seat version developed as an advanced training aircraft with the ability to serve in ground attack and close support roles. The real aircraft used a Rolls-Royce Spey 807 engine, reached a maximum speed of 1,000 km/h and, in Italian service, carried a 20 mm M61 cannon with an offensive payload of 3,800 kg. Those background details give the finished model a clear operational identity. New parts in this release are joined by photo-etched parts for finer detail, and the super decals sheet covers 4 versions with Aeronautica Militare markings. Figures are not included. The different marking options open up several display directions, from the TA-11 MM55037 of 132° Gruppo, 3° Stormo at Kleine-Brogel AB in 1998 to MM55051 of 101° Gruppo O.C.U. 32° Stormo at Amendola AB in June 2006 and ACOL MM55049 of 132° Gruppo, 51° Stormo at Istrana AB in February 2020. Assembly time is stated as 600 minutes. Paints, cement and tools are required separately.
