510001290€22.99
Article number: 510001290 Product: 1:72 S. 79 Sparviero Model Dim.: 22,5 cm Decals for one version. This elegant 3-engined aircraft was originally developed by the Italian aeronautical industry in the mid-30s to provide fast postal links with African colonies. Versions of record-breaking speed were soon developed. Its high velocity performance brought it to the World’s attention when it was used in a purely military role as a bomber and when, during World War Two, it was extensively used as a torpedo bomber in the Mediterranean: despite poor defensive weaponry and crew protection, its successes against allied shipping were numerous.

510001412€29.99
Article number: 510001412 Product: 1:72 S.M.79 M Sparviero The S.M.79 Sparviero was created and manufactured in the 1930s by Italian company SIAI-Marchetti initially as a civilian aircraft, which then went on to achieve significant world speed records during this period. Featuring a typical three-engine low-wing configuration, it had a wood, canvas and metal frame. Subsequently reconfigured into military variants, it was widely used by the Italian Regia Aeronautica during the Second World War, particularly as a bomber in the Mediterranean theatre and then as an effective torpedo bomber. Recognizable by the "hump" behind the cockpit and due to its three 750 HP Alfa Romeo 126 RC34 radial engines, it was capable of reaching a top speed of 430 km/h. In its basic bomber role it was superseded by many other more modern aircraft, however the "Sparviero" for the entire duration of the conflict achieved significant results in the hands of its skilled crews during torpedo maritime operations in which it attacked enemy shipping. 510007034€15.99
Article number: 510007034 Product: 1:72 Sd. Kfz 250/3 The half-track Sd.Kfz. 250 was widely used by German mechanized troops during the Second World War. Based upon on the technical "lay-out" of the Sd.Kfz.10 artillery tractor, it was intended to be a flexible and reliable solution for integrating infantry and armored troop movements. The Sd.Kfz. 250 was armed with either one or two 7.92mm MG34 machine guns and could deploy, with a high level of protection, a 4-man infantry squad to the battlefield. The operational reliability of the vehicle led to the development of numerous variants, one of which was the 250/3 Leichter Funkpanzerwagen (Light Armored Radio Link Vehicle), used as a radio control nerve center between forward troops, artillery and air support. The "Greif" used by Erwin Rommel in North Africa as a fully advanced command post in close contact with frontline troops is a noted version.

Article number: 510107519 Product: 1:72 Semovente M40 da 75/18, 2 pcs Model Dim.: 7 cm Decals for one version The "Semovente" 75/18 M40, developed by Fiat Ansaldo, was employed by Regio Esercito from the end of 1941 in North Africa and was used up to the end of World War II. Although it was developed on the tank M13/40 old frame, was the only Italian armored vehicle, produced in large numbers, to pose a serious threat to Allied tanks. Its 75mm gun had a good fire power and was effective even with the most modern and heavily armored enemy tanks like the Sherman. The good and effective gun was not able to compensate several weaknesses such as a too light armor and a unreliable and weak engine directly derived from the tank M13/40. The Italian Semovente was used, in particular, by Ariete and Littorio Armoured Division in North Africa but also, up to the end of war, by Repubblica Sociale in the North of Italy.

1:72 US F-5A Freedom Fighter
510001441€22.99
Article number: 510001441 Product: 1:72 US F-5A Freedom Fighter During the 1950s, the American Aircraft Company Northrop began developmental work into a simple and "low cost" fighter that would meet the needs of several NATO member air forces. The F-5 met the precise specification, it being a light single-seat fighter, small in size but extremely maneuverable and effective. It was relatively simple and cheap to produce and was operationally efficient. The initial version produced by Northrop, designated F-5 A "Freedom Fighter", was fitted with two General Electric J85-GE-13 engines and could attain a maximum speed of 1,700 Km / h. Armed with two 20 mm. guns installed in the nose, the F-5 was a credible "multi-role" aircraft due to its weapons load capability, which could offer a wide range of offensive options for both air defense and ground attack missions. This multi-role aspect of the aircraft ensured its rapid take-up by many Air Forces. Detailed plastic kit in scale 1:72

It was a revolutionary heavy fighter with a twin-boom fuselage where the two engines were installed. The pilot was accommodated in a leading-edge cockpit at the centre of the aircraft. The P-38 could reach a top speed of over 660 km/h thanks to its two 12 cylinders liquid cooled V-1710 Allison engines, each capable of 1,425hp. It was armed with four Browning 12.7 mm machine guns and one Hispano M2 cannon which ensured highly effective firepower. The P38 was not particularly manoeuvrable compared to other single-engine fighters of the period, but it was very robust and stable. Its huge versatility made it a key aircraft both on operations in the Pacific theatre and on escort missions for long-range bombers over Europe. The P-38 with its characteristic shape and its ‘fear effect’ was nicknamed ‘the fork-tailed devil’ by enemy pilots. Detailed plastic kit in scale 1:72

510001282€52.99
Article number: 510001282 Product: 1:72 XB-70 Valkyrie Model Dim.: 79 cm Decal for one version. In the Cold War era the dream of every strategist was to own a bomber with the load capacity and autonomy of the B-52 able to fly faster than the B-58 and so the B-70 programme came into being. After years on the drawing board, and cutthroat competition between Boeing and North American Aviation, the latter’s design won the heated competition in December 1957, with an order for the first 30 aircraft to be in service by 1965. In 1959, however, it became clear that the still untested B-70 would not survive the new aerial combat scene technology and the programme was cut back to a minimum. Two prototypes were finally constructed, the first of which took to the air in September 1964, and the XB-70 Valkyries showed themselves able to fly at speeds exceeding Mach 3. Today they are considered by many scholars and airplane buffs to be the most beautiful aircraft ever constructed.

510003635soon available again
Article number: 510003635 Product: 1:24 Willys Jeep MB "80th Anniversary" In 1940, after World War II had broken out, the US general staff ordered various factories to design a light multipurpose vehicle with all-wheel drive. The American Bantam Company, Willys Overland, and Ford Motor Co. competed with each other. Willys prototype was chosen, which, after an initial run of 1500 vehicles, went into mass production at the beginning of1941 and reached a total output of 640.000 units out of which 277.000 pieces were produced by Ford under a licensing agreement. This shows that the Jeep was the most widely produced light vehicle of the war industry during World War II. Even after 80 years, the "Willys" is still considered today, to be the four-wheeled vehicle which is most symbolic of the American army during the Second World War, and thanks to its enthusiasts and collectors, there are many examples of the jeep, still in perfect working order.
