At the start of the 2nd WW, Great Britain did not have all the technical equipment needed for such a conflict, therefore a lot of vehicles were ordered urgently. Motorcycles, mainly used by the well known DR "Dispatch Riders" for communication between different units, were converted from civilian bikes with small changes, like military color and the addition of frames for the canvas bags. Triumph proposed in short time the model 3HW, based on the civilian "Tiger 80", with an overhead valve engine and parallel forks. This model served on all fronts where the British Armed Forces fought, such as Africa, Europe and Asia. After 2nd WW these motorcycles were delivered to many other nations, such as Italy and Greece, where the Triumphs served for a long time thanks to their reliability and robustness. The American Bantam Company, Willys Overland, and Ford Motor Co. competed with each other. Willys prototype was chosen, which, after an initial run of 1500 vehicles, went into mass production at the beginning of1941 and reached a total output of 640.000 units out of which 277.000 pieces were produced by Ford under a licensing agreement. This shows that the Jeep was the most widely produced light vehicle of the war industry during World War II. Even after 80 years, the "Willys" is still considered today, to be the four-wheeled vehicle which is most symbolic of the American army during the Second World War, and thanks to its enthusiasts and collectors, there are many examples of the jeep, still in perfect working order. The Stug IV was equipped with a Stuk40 75mm L/48 high-velocity gun installed in a casemate, protected by armored mantlet, capable of penetrating the armor of major enemy armored vehicles. Distributed to units in the early months of 1944, it supplemented and often replaced the Stug III assault gun, which had experienced a sudden decrease in production in 1943 due to increasingly frequent Allied bomber raids on German industrial areas. Widely deployed on the Eastern Front, the Stug IV was also utilized by armored units and anti-tank detachments of the Wehrmacht in Normandy, where its low profile proved to be particularly difficult to identify in the hedgerows of the French countryside. In Italy, a similar version is produced on license by Agusta Westland under the designation AB-212. The AB-212 is a medium, two-blade rotor powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6T turbo shaft power turbines providing 1.342 Kw. It is a development of model 205, the main difference being an elongated fuselage. In the first half of the 2000s, the AB 212 was massively updated to enhance its operational capacity. It has been fitted with two 7,62mm swivelling machine guns on the tailgates, and the defensive equipment has been upgraded with antimissile flare launchers and additional ceramic and kevlar armour to protect the crew. Starting from the great success of the C.R. 32 "Freccia" biplane, which proved its reliability and operational efficiency during the Spanish Civil War, Fiat developed the new C.R. 42 "Falco" at the end of the 1930s. The new single-seat biplane fighter retained the fixed landing gear and open cockpit of its predecessor but introduced several innovations, such as an entirely aluminum and steel structure covered with metal and fabric. Its air-cooled radial engine, the Fiat A.74, allowed the C.R. 42 to reach a top speed of 400 km/h. The battles of Ligny and Quatre Bras were only the proem of the most famous and well-known battle of the military history. A date and a place: 18th June 1815, Waterloo. Wellington considered the farm of La Haie Sainte a strategic point of his defensive line. In the afternoon, Napoleon ordered to Marshal Ney to launch the assault to the farm in order to obtain a significant outpost. The farm was strenuously defended by Allied troops, that had fortified the buildings since the morning. The clash was fierce and the French troops, supported by artillery, were able to conquer La Haie Sainte only in the late afternoon. At 7 p.m., thanks to the strategic value of the farm, the French Imperial Guard can start the assault but it is too late. Legionnaires of this period wore a lorica hamata, reinforced on the shoulders, and were equipped with semi-rectangular shields. This was the Wehrmacht's last offensive on the western front before the final surrender in 1945. The "Wacht am Rhein" plan envisaged, on the part of General Von Rundstedt , the use of many elite units of Wehrmacht and of Waffen SS. The climax of the offensive was the siege of Bastogne, on December 21st, 1944. The town was defended by the 101st Airborne Division. The models in this kit are equipped with the innovative Sturmgewehr 44 which can be considered the precursor of today's assault rifles. Content 48 figures.

The key feature of it was its night vision equipment, which included a range of infrared and ultraviolet lights, as well as a specialized periscope that allowed the crew to see in the dark. Despite its advanced technology, this special variant was produced in limited numbers due to the high cost of the specialized equipment and the difficult production conditions in Germany during the war.
