Article number: 510000315 Product: 1:35 BMW R 75 with Side Car Model Dim.: 6,6 cm Contains 3 figures. Decal for one version. The new German army made use of the experiences collected in World War I to realize their modern reconstruction based on motorization. In spite of the limitations of the Treaty of Versailles able commanders introduced civilian vehicles into the army, thus creating a motorized mentality. In 1940 already, a battalion consisting of 3 to 4 companies each equipped with 52 motorcycles with sidecars and 4 motorcy-cles (single), was integrated into the motorized infantry and the armored divisions. Moreover, motorcycles were present in nearly all other Wehrmacht units, especially with the reconaissance units and the command, as well as the pioneer and the supply units. Produced in 16.500 units, the BMW R 75 together with the Zijndapp KS 750 formed the nucleus of the motorized units on all theatres of operations, especially in Africa and in Russia. The motorcycle was armored with an MG 34 mounted on the sidecar. On the road, it reached a maximum speed of 92 Km/h.

Article number: 510000313 Product: 1/35 Kfz. 69 Schwimmwagen Model Dim.: 10,9 cm including 3 figures Decals for one version As the Volkswagen 82 (Kubelwagen) proved very successful during the campaign in Poland, it was necessary to produce everincreasing numbers of this vehicle. Later, Ferdinand Porsche developed an amphibian version of this car, called the Schwimmwagen. The light weight of this vehicle (about 1/2 ton) permitted crossing of muddy areas, since only two men were sufficient to keep this vehicle moving. For reconnaissance and liaison missions, water had to be crossed frequently, which was impossible with other vehicles.

Article number: 510000317 Product: 1:35 Motorcycle side car Zündapp KS750 Model Dim.: 6,6 cm CONTAINS 3 FIGURES The Treaty of Versailles forbade the reconstruction of the German army. Nevertheless, its commanders evaded the obstacle by introducing vehicles of the civil production, which was not subject to any limitations. Thus they set up entire companies equipped with motorvehicles, developing in this way a "motorized mentality" among the crews. The Zündapp. with a production total of 18.000 units due to its structure which guaranteed easy and economical handling - was considered one of the most modern accomplishments of the age in the field of motorcycle construction. Because of its extraordinary qualities, the Zündapp could follow and escort the tank units of the Wehrmacht and the Waffen-SS to all theatres of operations, especially in Russia, since the side car was even furnished with heating for hands and feet of the man. Zündapps were distributed to all units of the armed forces, Only after 1943, they were replaced by 4-wheel vehicles. Detailed plastic kit of model Motorrad-Gespann Zündapp KS750 in scale 1:35

Article number: 510003635 Product: 1:24 Willys Jeep MB "80th Anniversary" In 1940, after World War II had broken out, the US general staff ordered various factories to design a light multipurpose vehicle with all-wheel drive. The American Bantam Company, Willys Overland, and Ford Motor Co. competed with each other. Willys prototype was chosen, which, after an initial run of 1500 vehicles, went into mass production at the beginning of1941 and reached a total output of 640.000 units out of which 277.000 pieces were produced by Ford under a licensing agreement. This shows that the Jeep was the most widely produced light vehicle of the war industry during World War II. Even after 80 years, the "Willys" is still considered today, to be the four-wheeled vehicle which is most symbolic of the American army during the Second World War, and thanks to its enthusiasts and collectors, there are many examples of the jeep, still in perfect working order. To better meet the logistical and transportation needs in the challenging environmental conditions of the Eastern Front, the Wehrmacht developed tracked tractors capable of towing various types of vehicles and transporting different loads, including ammunition and supplies. The official designation of this series of vehicles, which were highly versatile in operational use, was "Raupenschlepper-Ost" (Crawler Tractor-East). The RSO was predominantly built by the Austrian company Steyr, which also developed an anti-tank version that was simple and cost-effective to produce, armed with the reliable and formidable 75mm PaK40 cannon. The vehicle essentially had the same technical structure as the tractor and featured increased frontal protection, given its operational use in direct contact with the enemy. For the duration of the war it was deployed on various fronts, proving to be a highly effective support vehicle for meeting both logistical and transportation needs due to its four-wheel drive and relatively low weight which further enhanced its load capacity. Equipped with Christie suspension with large diameter rolling wheels, the Crusader possessed remarkable driving skills on rough terrain. The first versions of Mk. I and Mk. II were armed with a 2 pdr cannon. later replaced by the more powerful 6 pdr cannon. in the Mk.III version. Lacking adequate armor against enemy fire, it was also very vulnerable to enemy mines and anti-tank guns, and its armament was often inadequate in front of similar German vehicles. It went into production in 1942 for the needs of the eastern operation area and was used on all fronts until the end of the war. A major improvement was the installation of an effective 75 mm anti-tank gun protected by a slanted steel shield. In order to better protect the soldiers, the engine was placed in the rear part of the vehicle and the weapon system in the middle. With the Marder III, the Wehrmacht had an easy-to-manufacture tank destroyer with high firepower that was capable of fighting the most important tanks of the time. SdKfz. 234/2 Puma 8-Rad The German armored car ‘Schwerer Panzerspähwagen Sd.Kfz. 234/2’ known as "Puma", was developed and produced by the German war machine in the closing years of WW2. The vehicle proved to be an excellent mix of mobility, protection and firepower which was built upon the operational experience gained by the Wehrmacht in the early stages of the conflict. From 1939 onwards the German army had used armored vehicles very effectively for advanced reconnaissance tasks, and also in a ground support role for its troops. The "Puma" was initially a reconnaissance vehicle, but due to its KwK 39 L / 60 50 mm gun it could also be used equally effectively in offensive actions against infantry and other armored vehicles. It was deployed in limited numbers on both the Eastern and Western fronts. The highly effective independent suspension system of the eight wheels and the powerful engine, enabled the Puma to reach speeds of up to 90 km/h on all types of battlefield terrain. Article number: 510006392 Product: 1:35 DUKW Amphibious vehicle To meet the logistical needs of the US Army landing forces in transferring loads quickly and efficiently from ships to beaches, the American General Motor CCKW-353 2½ t 6x6 amphibious version tactical transport truck was designed and built for this purpose. The basic vehicle components were the same as the GMC road truck with its 4,400 cm3 6-cylinder engine, three differentials and six driving wheels. The DUKW was characterized by a welded hull to make it amphibious, which was then reinforced by horizontal ribs. Its key attribute however was its extraordinary versatility and load capacity. It could carry a 2,400 kg payload or 25 fully equipped troops. DUKWs were deployed extensively in all theaters of war by the U.S. Army, U.S. Marines and the armed forces of numerous Allied countries. Notably, they featured in many significant WW11 beach landings including the D-Day Normandy landings at Utah and Omaha and also at Salerno, Anzio and on the beaches of the Pacific campaign. Panzerjäger I Model Dim.: 12,6 cm NEW GLUEABLE RUBBER TRACKS - DECALS FOR 4 VERSIONS - COLOR INSTRUCTIONS SHEET - PHOTO-ETCHED FRET CONTAINS 1 FIGURE The self-propelled Panzerjager I tank destroyer was built on the hull of the Panzer I light tank and armed with an effective weapon of the period, the 47mm Czechoslovakian anti-tank gun. The Panzer I tank had in fact a protection and armament capability no longer in keeping with the operational needs of the German armoured divisions. However, it had good mobility and a robust chassis which was ideal for the positioning of the anti-tank gun, which was sited behind an open steel shield. The Panzerjager I was deployed by the Wehrmacht during the invasion of France, in North Africa and in the early stages of Operation Barbarossa in 1941. It held a goodammunition supply, with over 70 rounds available for gunners. It was systematically replaced during the war bymore heavily armored tank destroyers, better equipped to deal with modern tank armor against which the 47 mm gun proved to be ineffective. The Sd. Kfz. 140 Flakpanzer 38 "Gepard" self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle was developed during World War II using the chassis of the Czechoslovak-designed light tank Panzer 38(t). Its primary purpose was to provide the Wehrmacht with an effective means of protecting armored units and moving columns against aerial attacks. The mechanical reliability and maneuverability offered by the 38(t) chassis served as the technical foundation for mounting a 20 mm Flak 38 anti-aircraft gun on a rotating, shielded platform to protect the crew. The main weapon was often utilized not only against aircraft but also in engaging fixed positions and supporting ground troops in close combat situations. Over time, the Gepard was progressively supplemented in the anti-aircraft role by other self-propelled systems with greater firepower, such as the Wirbelwind and the Ostwind. Sd.Kfz.167 Sturmgeschütz IV The Sturmgeschütz IV was developed on the chassis of the Panzer IV medium tank to provide the German army with an assault gun capable of effectively serving as a tank destroyer in the later stages of World War II. The Stug IV was equipped with a Stuk40 75mm L/48 high-velocity gun installed in a casemate, protected by armored mantlet, capable of penetrating the armor of major enemy armored vehicles. Distributed to units in the early months of 1944, it supplemented and often replaced the Stug III assault gun, which had experienced a sudden decrease in production in 1943 due to increasingly frequent Allied bomber raids on German industrial areas. Widely deployed on the Eastern Front, the Stug IV was also utilized by armored units and anti-tank detachments of the Wehrmacht in Normandy, where its low profile proved to be particularly difficult to identify in the hedgerows of the French countryside.   Warning! The armored cars of the Schwerer Panzerspähwagen Sd.Kfz. 234 series were produced by the German war industry during the final phase of the Second World War. They were distinguished by their high manufacturing quality, combining mobility, operational flexibility, and offensive capability. The design represented an excellent balance of all-terrain speed, protection, and firepower, effectively incorporating the operational experience gained by the Wehrmacht during the early years of the conflict. On roads, the vehicle could reach a top speed of 85 km/h. Among the various versions produced, the Sd.Kfz. 234/1 often served as a command vehicle. Also deployed in forward reconnaissance missions, it was equipped with a 20 mm KwK 30 cannon mounted in an open-topped turret, capable of providing infantry support fire against lightly armored targets. The 3rd generation American main battle tank the M1 Abrams, is the backbone of the United States Army and United States Marine Corps armored divisions. The Abrams is characterized by its heavy armor (it is one of the heaviest combat vehicles in the world), and also its powerful multifuel turbine engine. The tank first entered service at the beginning of the 1980’s to replace the ageing M-60. It houses a sophisticated computerized fire and control system within its modern armor plated hull. Thanks to its Dodge T-214 6 cylinders engine the M6 was able to reach, on road, the speed of 90 Km/h. The GMC M6 was set up and developed to be anti-tank vehicle but, since the first clashes in Tunisia, its light gun was often ineffective against the most recent German tanks protections. It entered service in the early eighties. The M-923 has an extremely sturdy structure and excellent off-road features, which are necessary to secure the flow of material to the front line combat units. Based on this chassis many versions have been produced: wrecking trucks, tank trucks, mobile maintenance and communication trucks. The A-1 version is characteristic because of its large off-road tires which have earned it the nick-name "big-foot". During its operational use, and in particular in the most recent military campaigns in which it was employed as Iraq and Afghanistan, the "Big Foot" has often been modified with the addition of "home made" protections to reduce the damages caused by the fire of light weapons. However, the personalization of the vehicles, made "on field" by the crews, were possible thanks to the excellent platform offered by-M-923 trucks.

Article number: 510006754 Product: 1:35 Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf. E late production The Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. Tiger I is undoubtedly one of the most famous tanks of World War II. It was developed to provide the armored divisions of the Wehrmacht with a heavily armored and heavily armed tank to complement the more common medium tanks, Panzer III and Panzer IV, which were no longer effectively countering enemy tanks. Its primary armament consisted of the renowned and lethal long-barreled 88mm KwK 36 L/56 anti-tank gun. Installed in the turret and protected by a heavy 120mm shielding, it could penetrate the armor of any contemporary enemy vehicle even at long distances. Deployed on all major theatres of operation, it played an active role in German military operations in Normandy and the Western Front. Despite facing issues of reliability and deployment, the heavy tank, when operated by skilled crews, was always greatly feared by the Allied forces.   Warning!
