Italeri JS-2 Stalin Tank Model Kit 1:56 Scale

The Italeri JS-2 Stalin brings one of the Soviet Union's most formidable World War II heavy tanks into a 1:56 scale build with a finished length of 17.7 cm. Its long 122 mm cannon, centrally mounted turret and distinctive heavy-tank profile give the model a strong presence whether it stands in a display line or takes its place in a tabletop force. This assembly kit is based on the vehicle developed in 1943 to replace the KV tanks and to answer heavily armoured German designs such as the Tiger and Panther. The original JS-2 combined a cast steel hull, heavy armour and a 12-cylinder diesel engine with over 600 HP in a 46 ton chassis, and those defining features shape the look of the finished miniature. The kit contains 77 parts and requires assembly, with an indicated assembly time of 600 minutes. Decals for 5 versions open up different historical finishing routes, including Soviet and Polish marking options shown on the sheet. The completed model suits painting, weathering and historical vehicle line-ups, and it also fits naturally into WWII tabletop gaming at 1:56 scale.
