Motorcycles, mainly used by the well known DR "Dispatch Riders" for communication between different units, were converted from civilian bikes with small changes, like military color and the addition of frames for the canvas bags. Triumph proposed in short time the model 3HW, based on the civilian "Tiger 80", with an overhead valve engine and parallel forks. This model served on all fronts where the British Armed Forces fought, such as Africa, Europe and Asia. After 2nd WW these motorcycles were delivered to many other nations, such as Italy and Greece, where the Triumphs served for a long time thanks to their reliability and robustness. Widely deployed on the Eastern Front, the Stug IV was also utilized by armored units and anti-tank detachments of the Wehrmacht in Normandy, where its low profile proved to be particularly difficult to identify in the hedgerows of the French countryside. In Italy, a similar version is produced on license by Agusta Westland under the designation AB-212. The AB-212 is a medium, two-blade rotor powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6T turbo shaft power turbines providing 1.342 Kw. It is a development of model 205, the main difference being an elongated fuselage. In the first half of the 2000s, the AB 212 was massively updated to enhance its operational capacity. It has been fitted with two 7,62mm swivelling machine guns on the tailgates, and the defensive equipment has been upgraded with antimissile flare launchers and additional ceramic and kevlar armour to protect the crew. Starting from the great success of the C.R. 32 "Freccia" biplane, which proved its reliability and operational efficiency during the Spanish Civil War, Fiat developed the new C.R. 42 "Falco" at the end of the 1930s. The new single-seat biplane fighter retained the fixed landing gear and open cockpit of its predecessor but introduced several innovations, such as an entirely aluminum and steel structure covered with metal and fabric. Its air-cooled radial engine, the Fiat A.74, allowed the C.R. 42 to reach a top speed of 400 km/h. The aircraft was characterized by exceptional maneuverability, highly appreciated by pilots, but suffered from the inherent limitations of the biplane configuration, which hindered its operational performance compared to more modern and powerful monoplane fighters. The battles of Ligny and Quatre Bras were only the proem of the most famous and well-known battle of the military history. A date and a place: 18th June 1815, Waterloo. Wellington considered the farm of La Haie Sainte a strategic point of his defensive line. In the afternoon, Napoleon ordered to Marshal Ney to launch the assault to the farm in order to obtain a significant outpost. The farm was strenuously defended by Allied troops, that had fortified the buildings since the morning. The clash was fierce and the French troops, supported by artillery, were able to conquer La Haie Sainte only in the late afternoon. At 7 p.m., thanks to the strategic value of the farm, the French Imperial Guard can start the assault but it is too late. This was the Wehrmacht's last offensive on the western front before the final surrender in 1945. The "Wacht am Rhein" plan envisaged, on the part of General Von Rundstedt , the use of many elite units of Wehrmacht and of Waffen SS. The climax of the offensive was the siege of Bastogne, on December 21st, 1944. The town was defended by the 101st Airborne Division. The models in this kit are equipped with the innovative Sturmgewehr 44 which can be considered the precursor of today's assault rifles. Content 48 figures.

The model "Fiat 806 Grand Prix" in scale 1/12 has a length of about 303 mm. UPGRADE PROTAR MOULDS The Fiat 806 Grand Prix adopted significant innovations for its time. In fact, the Fiat 806 was the "progenitor" of the modern Formula One racing cars. Developed and produced by FIAT, the Italian automobiles manufacturer, in 1927, it could be considered the first Grand Prix car ever built before. Thanks to its 180 HP 12 cylinders engine, the Fiat 806 was able to reach and even exceed the speed of 240 Km/h. However, the most important innovations were made in the development of the chassis, mechanics and bodywork. In fact, the engine and gearbox unit was located between the two chassis bars in order to optimize the performance and the drivability. The Italeri model is unique and very detailed (over 400 pieces to be assembled). The bonnet can be open to view the highly detailed engine. It has working steering, soft rubber tires, photo etched parts and little metallic accessories (screws, nuts, springs, etc).
