Front universal drive shafts are a focused drivetrain replacement for Carson Virus and Akuma model platforms, supplied as 2 matching parts for the front axle assembly. The black metal construction and universal-joint style ends suit the mechanical demands of rotational power transfer where steering angle and suspension movement both need to be accommodated within the same front drivetrain area.
The shaft design shown in the set combines a long rod section with a cylindrical housing, external threads near one end and a cross-drilled connector section for installation in the relevant drivetrain assembly. At the opposite end, the rounded joint section with 2 perpendicular pins forms the coupling point that allows the shaft to transmit drive while the front end geometry continues to move through use. Compatibility is stated for Virus 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and Race, as well as Akuma, making the set a clear match for maintenance, repair or parts replacement on those series.
In workshop use, a matched 2-piece shaft set helps restore the front drive path on models that show wear, impact damage or drivetrain play at the axle end. Age marking: 14 years.
