ESC tio Marine 30, brushed marine speed controller

Built for RC boat use, the tio Marine 30 is a brushed marine speed controller that combines 6 to 12 V operation with a 30 A motor limit for DC brushed motors. Its fully waterproof design suits running conditions where spray, splashes and wet decks are part of the setup, while the compact controller body connects battery and motor through clearly marked positive and negative leads. The control system uses 4 quadrant operation, so the motor stops completely before changing into the opposite direction. That sequence creates balanced response around the neutral position and supports precise manoeuvring at low speed. Reverse can also be switched on or off, allowing either forward and reverse running or a forward-only mode with brake function. Programming and calibration are handled through the set button and LED signals, with separate indications for neutral, forward, reverse, battery selection and failsafe mode. The controller is compatible with LiPo as well as NiCAD, NiMH and lead acid battery packs. In a model boat, that mix of directional control and battery flexibility suits everything from careful harbour-style manoeuvres to steady throttle changes on open water. When signal loss occurs, the built-in failsafe returns the controller to neutral, and the added protection functions help manage motor stall, short circuit and overheating during demanding sessions.
