1:14 Goldhofer TU4, lowloader trailer, 4-axle

Heavy-haul lowloaders are built to move machinery that sits too tall or too heavy for a standard trailer, and the Goldhofer TU4 captures that purpose in a long 1:14 scale platform with a distinctly low deck and 4-axle layout. This kit uses laser-cut steel sheet parts to create the frame and structure, giving the model a technical build with the look of a real transport trailer. The deck is finished with wood supports that break up the steel construction with a realistic loading surface, while 16 ball-bearing wheels add a dense multi-axle stance under the chassis. At the rear, the support can be adjusted manually, and the one-piece ramps connect through a hinged mechanism that allows different loading positions. The underframe includes spacers, semicircular fenders and a pivoting bogie arrangement, adding more mechanical detail during assembly than a simple display trailer. Decals are included for markings and finishing touches, so the completed model carries the visual character of a working lowloader rather than a plain platform. Coupled behind a matching 1:14 tractor unit, the trailer suits workshop display, transport dioramas and scale loading scenes with construction or agricultural vehicles. Age 14 Years.
