Scalextric Digital Plug DPR Slot Car Converter

Scalextric Digital Plug Quer/Touring DPR brings digital control to compatible slot cars with a compact EasyFit module that connects through the car's existing DPR socket. Once fitted, the car can run on a Scalextric Digital layout, where up to 6 cars can race on one lane and drivers can switch lanes at the press of a button for overtaking and blocking moves. The conversion is built around a direct connection to the braid-to-motor wiring plug, so no complex rewiring is required. Many Scalextric cars produced from 2007 onwards already carry the standard socket needed for this setup. Fitting starts by removing the panel on the base of the car, then connecting the EasyFit Digital Plug and securing it to the chassis with the retaining screw. The process needs only a small screwdriver and takes less than 60 seconds. The compact board and holder sit neatly within the underside space provided by standard DPR Scalextric cars. This accessory suits race nights where analogue-compatible cars are being prepared for digital competition on the same layout system.
