1:87 MB Unimog U406, RC vehicle, 100% RTR

The MB Unimog U406 has long been associated with compact utility work, and this 1:87 version brings that character into a radio-controlled format with a road and rail setup in one model. As a 100% RTR vehicle, it arrives ready assembled with a 2.4 GHz remote control system, a Li-Ion drive battery rated at 3.7 V and 75 mAh, and 4 AAA transmitter batteries for immediate operation. The conversion for rail use adds a distinctive function beyond standard micro RC driving. A track guide mounts under the chassis, and the included towing bar allows a wagon to be attached for railway-themed scenes. The Reflex Stick Micro transmitter links compact dimensions with proportional control, so throttle and steering inputs can be adjusted with fine accuracy instead of simple on-off commands. A switchable signalling light extends the municipal service look, while the detailed finish and decoration give the model a strong presence in H0 scale environments. Charging runs through the transmitter, keeping the setup compact between driving sessions. On a model railway, the Unimog can move from a station yard to the rails with the conversion fitted, then return to road use for layout scenes away from the track. In a display cabinet or on a diorama, the painted bodywork, warning markings and utility-truck proportions give the model a clear role within maintenance, service or municipal settings.
