The Mercedes-Benz Unimog U406 has long been known for compact utility and all-terrain presence, and this 1:87 RC fire engine translates that character into a format built for close-quarters driving. Fine printing, high-quality paintwork and front and rear LED lighting give the body a convincing emergency-service appearance, while the very small turning circle suits narrow routes between scenery, tools or display pieces. The chassis uses 2WD rear-wheel drive and a brushed motor for controlled running, with fully proportional steering and acceleration allowing measured inputs instead of simple on-off commands. That control layout makes a visible difference on a desk, in a diorama or anywhere space is limited, because the model can be guided through tighter lines with cleaner corrections. The 2.4 GHz system supports stable operation, and the permanently installed 3.7 V 75 mAh Li-ion drive battery keeps the compact body free from bulky battery changes.
