Compact dimensions, simple control and a flight-ready setup make the Starter Tyrann 230 IR 2Ch a focused entry point into indoor helicopter flying. At 225 mm long, 97 mm high and only 31 g in weight, the model stays light in the air and easy to handle around open space in a room. The coaxial rotor layout with a 180 mm rotor diameter gives the helicopter the stable lift needed for early hovering practice, while the small tail rotor supports directional control. Infrared control keeps operation tailored to indoor use, where short distances and clear line of sight suit the system well. The included ready-to-fly model comes with an IR remote control system, a 3.7 V 150 mAh LiPo flight battery and a USB charger, so the core flying setup is already in place. An age marking of 8 years and up is stated in the product data. 4 AA batteries are required separately. LED position indicators can be switched on or off from the remote, which helps keep the model visible against indoor backgrounds during evening flights or in dimmer corners of a room.
