Italeri Biber Midget Submarine Model Kit 1:35

Italeri Biber Midget Submarine is a 1:35 assembly kit that recreates one of the most recognizable compact submarines used by the Kriegsmarine in the later years of World War II. With a finished length of about 186 mm, the model gives the narrow hull, raised conning tower and external weapon mounting layout enough room to stand out clearly on a shelf or in a naval diorama. The original Biber measured 9 m and was designed for a crew of 1, a combination that shaped its unusually small profile and focused mission role. Italeri carries that character into the build with the submarine's lean body, mast structures and the externally mounted torpedo arrangement that defined the type. Historical context adds depth to the finished model: development began in February 1944, the first units were launched 6 months later, and more than 300 Bibers were deployed before the end of the war. The real craft had a range of 240 km, a surfaced speed of 6.5 knots and a submerged speed of 5.3 knots.
