Macchi MC. 202 aircraft model kit 1:32

The Italeri 1:32 Macchi MC. 202 captures the Folgore in a scale aircraft build shaped by the lines that made the original fighter stand out in Regia Aeronautica service. Its streamlined airframe and DB 601 engine installation define a silhouette built for speed, and the finished model carries that focused World War II character across the nose, canopy, tail wheel and wing profile. This assembly kit is based on the Macchi MC. 202, a fighter that reached 600 km/h and marked a clear step forward from earlier radial-engine designs such as the Fiat G-50 and Macchi Mc-200. Early aircraft were armed with 2 Breda-SAFAT 12.7 mm machine guns in the nose, while later versions added further wing-mounted machine guns, giving the type a distinct development history that can be explored through the included marking options. The set also contains cockpit 3D decals, smoke rings decals, photo etched parts and a super decals sheet for 8 versions. Figure not included. With 600 minutes assembly time, the build suits longer bench sessions focused on painting, fitting and finishing. The completed 1:32 aircraft works well as a display centrepiece alongside other World War II aviation subjects or as a single project built around Italian fighter history.
