The Italeri Ju-87G-2 Kanonenvogel brings one of the most recognizable late-war Stuka variants into 1:72 scale as a detailed plastic aircraft kit. Its gull wing layout, fixed landing gear and underwing 37 mm Flak 18 cannon pods give the finished model the unmistakable profile of the anti-tank version developed for operations against armored vehicles on the Eastern Front after 1943. This G-2 configuration is based on the refined airframe with greater wing surface derived from the earlier D-5 version, which gives the model a specific place within the Ju-87 development line.
