Italeri FW 190 D-9 Aircraft Model Kit 1:72

Italeri FW 190 D-9 brings the final long-nose development of the Focke-Wulf fighter into 1:72 scale as a detailed aircraft model kit. The elongated front section reflects the redesign made for the Junkers Jumo 213 12-cylinder engine, giving the finished build the unmistakable Dora profile on the workbench or in a display lineup. The subject draws on one of the most recognized Luftwaffe fighters of World War II, with the D-9 representing a later evolution of the original Fw 190 airframe. More than 20,000 Focke-Wulf fighters were produced from 1941 onward, and this version shows how the established aerodynamic layout was adapted for a different powerplant. The new decals edition supplies markings for 6 versions, supporting different camouflage and identification finishes from 1945. Figure not included. During assembly, the model invites close attention to paint placement, national insignia and unit markings, especially across the nose, fuselage and tail sections shown in the finishing references. On a shelf, in a cabinet or alongside other 1:72 aircraft, the FW 190 D-9 stands out through its stretched nose, late-war camouflage patterns and historically grounded marking choices.
