The characteristic "gull wing" aircraft gained great notoriety at the beginning of the war, and is considered, together with the Panzer Divisions of the Wehrmacht, as defining symbols of the Blitzkrieg. During the war, new versions with differing operational profiles were introduced. The Ju-87G was developed as an "anti-tank" version of the Stuka, to counter the vast array of enemy armored vehicles deployed on the eastern front post 1943.The Stuka "ace" Hans Ulrich Rudel proposed the addition of two 37 mm Flak 18 cannons housed in underwing pods to better counter this developing threat. With this configuration the Ju-87G "Kanonenvogel" proved extremely effective in the hands of experienced pilots. Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

In Italy, a similar version is produced on license by Agusta Westland under the designation AB-212. The AB-212 is a medium, two-blade rotor powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6T turbo shaft power turbines providing 1.342 Kw. It is a development of model 205, the main difference being an elongated fuselage. In the first half of the 2000s, the AB 212 was massively updated to enhance its operational capacity. It has been fitted with two 7,62mm swivelling machine guns on the tailgates, and the defensive equipment has been upgraded with antimissile flare launchers and additional ceramic and kevlar armour to protect the crew. It was, for nearly three decades, employed by the British Royal Navy to carry out, in its different versions, many operational tasks. The Wessex UH.5, one of the latest version of Westland helicopter, was used during the period of Falklands War in the South Atlantic on 1982, and it was specialized to satisfy the tactical transportation needs of artillery, ammunitions and missile systems. Article number: 510001460 Product: 1:72 AMX Ghibli The AMX "Ghibli" single-engine ground attack aircraft was the result of a collaborative project between the Italian and Brazilian aviation industries. The project was initiated in the 1980s to replace the dated Italian Air Force’s Fiat G-91Y fighter-bomber. The Brazilian Air Force also needed to replace their Italian made MB-326s. The AMX had an aerodynamic lay-out characterized by a high swept wing, and with its Rolls-Royce Spey 807 engine could attain a maximum speed of 1,000 km / h. The Italian version was armed with a 20 mm M61 cannon and could carry an offensive payload of 3,800 kg. The Ghibli was deployed in several operational theaters (eg Afghanistan, Libya) to undertake advanced reconnaissance missions and also to provide close tactical support to ground troops. It was able to reach, as maximum speed, 375 Km / h. Among the most famous biplanes of aviation History the CR 32 was characterized by an extraordinary maneuverability. It was also strong, very reliable and well-armed for the historical period, with two 12.7 mm Breda-Safat machine gun located on the top of engine and firing through the propeller disc. The F-5 met the precise specification, it being a light single-seat fighter, small in size but extremely maneuverable and effective. It was relatively simple and cheap to produce and was operationally efficient. The initial version produced by Northrop, designated F-5 A "Freedom Fighter", was fitted with two General Electric J85-GE-13 engines and could attain a maximum speed of 1,700 Km / h. Armed with two 20 mm. guns installed in the nose, the F-5 was a credible "multi-role" aircraft due to its weapons load capability, which could offer a wide range of offensive options for both air defense and ground attack missions. Developed immediately after the Second World War, it was distributed to the U.S. Army in the late 1940s. The "Sioux" was characterized by its distinctive "soap bubble canopy" which made it unique and easily recognizable along with the tail trellis and its two side tanks. The OH-13 was deployed in large numbers during the Korean War to carry out a wide variety of tasks including observation, advanced reconnaissance, and medical evacuation. The OH-13 had a three-seater cabin configuration and could reach a top speed of170 km / h. It was both robust and exceptionally reliable which contributed to its operational longevity.
