Sd.Kfz. 142/1 StuG III Model Kit 1:56 Scale

The Italeri Sd.Kfz. 142/1 StuG III assembly kit brings a compact WWII armored vehicle subject into 1:56 scale, combining a low, purposeful silhouette with the hands-on detail of a 56-part build. At 11.0 cm in length, the finished model has a display-friendly footprint while still carrying the visual weight of the original assault gun design. The subject reflects the wartime development of the StuG III from infantry fire support to an anti-tank armored vehicle, giving the build a clear historical identity beyond its shape alone. The kit can be assembled as 2 alternative models, covering either the Sturmgeschutz III or the Sturmhaubitze 105 configuration. Decals for 2 versions extend that choice into the finishing stage, where markings help define the final appearance. The included assembly kit format keeps the focus on construction and painting rather than prebuilt presentation, and the stated assembly time of 600 minutes suits a longer, more deliberate bench session. Paints, cement and tools are required separately. On the workbench, the tracked layout, armored hull and gun installation create a build with distinct stages and visible progress across the sprues. Once completed, the model sits comfortably in a display cabinet, on a desk or alongside other WWII vehicle subjects where the 1:56 scale and alternate version options add variety to a military model lineup.
