Référence article: 510007402 Article: 1:9 Triumph Au début de la 2ème G.M., la Grande-Bretagne ne disposait pas des équipements nécessaires à un tel conflit et avait besoin d’un grand nombre de véhicules de tous types. Les motocyclettes, principalement utilisées par les célèbres DR (Dispatch Riders) pour la communication entre les différentes unités, étaient des machines civiles légèrement modifiées : teinte militaire et ajout de cadres supportant des sacs de toiles. Triumph proposa dans un délai très court le modèle 3HW basé sur la « Tiger 80 » civile avec moteur à soupapes en position supérieure et fourches parallèles. Ce modèle servit sur tous les fronts où combattirent les forces britanniques, en Afrique, Europe et Asie. Après la 2ème G.M., ces motocyclettes furent également fournies à plusieurs nations dont l’Italie et la Grèce. Elles y servirent longtemps grâce à leur fiabilité et leur robustesse.

L'M113 peut être considéré comme l'un des APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier) les plus célèbres de l'histoire. Il a été développé à la fin des années 1950 et au début des années 1960 dans le but précis de transporter une escouade d'infanterie entièrement armée et équipée avec un bon niveau de protection aussi près que possible de la zone d'opérations. This shows that the Jeep was the most widely produced light vehicle of the war industry during World War II. Even after 80 years, the "Willys" is still considered today, to be the four-wheeled vehicle which is most symbolic of the American army during the Second World War, and thanks to its enthusiasts and collectors, there are many examples of the jeep, still in perfect working order. Le Stug IV était armé d'un canon Stuk40 de 75 mm L/48 à haute vélocité initiale installé dans une casemate, protégé par un mantelet blindé, capable de perforer les blindages des principaux véhicules blindés ennemis. Distribué aux unités dans les premiers mois de 1944, il a complété et souvent remplacé le canon d'assaut Stug III qui avait subi en 1943 une baisse soudaine de la production en raison des raids de bombardiers alliés de plus en plus fréquents sur les zones industrielles allemandes. Largement déployé sur le front de l'Est, le Stug IV a également été utilisé par les unités blindées et les détachements antichars de la Wehrmacht en Normandie, où, grâce à son faible profil, il s'est avéré particulièrement difficile à identifier dans les haies de la campagne française. En Italie, une version similaire fut produite par Agusta Westland sous la désignation AB-212. Le AB-212 est un hélicoptère moyen à rotor principal bi-pale équipé de deux turbopropulseurs Pratt & Whitney PT6T délivrant 1.342kW. C’est une évolution du Model 205, la différence principale étant le fuselage ral-longé. Dans la première moitié des années 2000, le AB-212 fut considérablement amélioré pour accroître ses capacités opérationnelles. Il a été équipé de deux mitrailleuses de 7,62mm de sabord et les équipements défensifs ont été accrus avec des lance-leurres anti-missiles et des blindages en matériaux céramiques et Kevlar pour protéger l’équipage. En partant du grand succès du biplan C.R. 32 « Freccia », qui fit preuve de fiabilité et d’efficacité opérationnelle pendant la Guerre civile espagnole, Fiat développa, à la fin des années 1930, le nouveau C.R. 42 « Falco ». Ce nouveau chasseur monoplace biplan conservait, comme son prédécesseur, un train d’atterrissage fixe et un cockpit ouvert, mais il intégrait certaines innovations, telles qu’une structure entièrement en aluminium et en acier recouverte de métal et de toile. Son moteur radial Fiat A.74 refroidi par air permettait au C.R. 42 d’atteindre une vitesse de 400 km/h. Il se distinguait par une manœuvrabilité exceptionnelle, très appréciée des pilotes, mais souffrait des limitations inhérentes à la configuration « biplan », qui affectaient ses performances opérationnelles par rapport aux chasseurs monoplans plus modernes et puissants. L’hélicoptère d’attaque Mil Mi-24 est entré en service au début des années 1970 au sein des forces armées soviétiques. Caractérisé par sa silhouette originale et aisément reconnaissable, il se distinguait par une puissance de feu élevée. Sa structure robuste et son blindage lourd lui ont permis de jouer un rôle de premier plan au sein des armées des pays du Pacte de Varsovie, et il a été déployé sur de nombreux théâtres d’opérations. Le Mi-24 a par ailleurs bénéficié, au fil du temps, de mises à niveau régulières portant tant sur les systèmes d’armement que sur l’avionique embarquée. Parmi les versions produites, le Mi-24P "Hind-F" était équipé d’un puissant canon bitube fixe de 30 mm, à cadence de tir élevée, monté sur le flanc droit du fuselage. La version la plus récente est le Mi-35P, fabriquée à partir de 2020.

The United States Marine Corps is using the V-22 in particular for landing support operations. The Osprey took part in its first operational missions in an Iraq in 2007. The climax of the offensive was the siege of Bastogne, on December 21st, 1944. The town was defended by the 101st Airborne Division. The models in this kit are equipped with the innovative Sturmgewehr 44 which can be considered the precursor of today's assault rifles. Content 48 figures.

The battles of Ligny and Quatre Bras were only the proem of the most famous and well-known battle of the military history. A date and a place: 18th June 1815, Waterloo. Wellington considered the farm of La Haie Sainte a strategic point of his defensive line. In the afternoon, Napoleon ordered to Marshal Ney to launch the assault to the farm in order to obtain a significant outpost. The farm was strenuously defended by Allied troops, that had fortified the buildings since the morning. The clash was fierce and the French troops, supported by artillery, were able to conquer La Haie Sainte only in the late afternoon. At 7 p.m., thanks to the strategic value of the farm, the French Imperial Guard can start the assault but it is too late. The key feature of it was its night vision equipment, which included a range of infrared and ultraviolet lights, as well as a specialized periscope that allowed the crew to see in the dark. Despite its advanced technology, this special variant was produced in limited numbers due to the high cost of the specialized equipment and the difficult production conditions in Germany during the war.
