The Italeri Mercedes-Benz 2238 6x4 assembly kit brings a classic heavy long-distance tractor unit into 1:24 scale, with the cab-over shape, twin driven rear axles and road-haul proportions that made the original truck a standout in international transport. The build centres on a detailed plastic kit format and uses the Mercedes-Benz 2238 6x4 designation exactly as on the full-size vehicle. The original truck used the OM422 engine with 375 horsepower, and that engineering identity shapes the model's character throughout the build. The 6x4 drivetrain layout gives the finished truck its purposeful stance, while the separate construction of frame, cab and underbody sections lets the mechanical layout emerge step by step. The kit also features 10 tyres, adding the correct wheel equipment for the multi-axle configuration. A new decal sheet expands the finishing stage with dashboard graphics, model badges, European number plates, speed markings and cab striping for different visual versions. Figure not included.
