Le F-16 Fighting Falcon, produit par la société américaine General Dynamics à partir de la fin des années 70, est une véritable icône de l’aviation militaire. Au début, développé pour répondre aux besoins de l’U.S. Air Force d’avoir un avion de chasse monoplace diurne de supériorité aérienne, le projet a progressivement évolué et un avion de combat multi-rôle tous-temps a été créé, caractérisé par une flexibilité opérationnelle extraordinaire. Le F-16 se caractérise par un design original, facilement reconnaissable par le « canopy » (verrière) à bulle. qui garantit une grande visibilité au pilote. De plus, le F-16 adopta des solutions innovantes telles que la cloche latérale, le « fly-by-wire » et de modernes systèmes avioniques pour le vol et le combat. Le kit permet de reconstruire le "Cockpit" du célèbre "Falcon" avec les solutions innovantes adoptées lors de son introduction dans les détachements de vol américains et de nombreuses autres forces aéronautiques militaires de l'OTAN.

During this operation the town of Bastogne and its surroundings where encircled by the German troops. Inside the pocket around 15.000 American soldiers stood up to the repeated assaults of the German army for approximately ten days. The legendary resistance was that of the US 101st Airborne division inside the town. On December 22nd the General von Lüttwitz , who was the German commander, submitted a demand for surrender to the encircled units. The answer of the American commander in Bastogne, Brigadier General Anthony McAuliffe was "NUTS". Then, Germans renew their attacks trying to occupy the city but without getting results. On December 26th some soldiers of the General George Patton’s Third Army reached the besieged troops, breaking the siege and evacuating the wounded. The United States supported the South Vietnam Government against the North Vietnamese regular troops flanked by the People’s Liberation Armed Forces, commonly known as Vietcong. The ground war started on 1965 and ended only ten years later with the fall of Saigon of the evacuation of the latest American soldiers. The long years of war, started with an aerial campaign of bombing on North Vietnam, were characterised by clashed and fighting in tough rural environment with a vegetation and a structure of villages that provided ideal conditions for the guerrilla war. Unfortunately a huge number of civilians were involved in the war and in the military operations. The American military supremacy, which saw the massive use of helicopters and armoured vehicles, was counterbalanced by the effective North Vietnamese and Vietcong tactics.
