Article number: 540006476 Product: 1:35 Sd.Kfz.250/1 NEU (Premium Edition) Designed by Demag and based on the D7 chassis, the original halftrack’s complex design of angled plates was considerably simplified in October 1943 in order to ease production. With the original 19 armored plates reduced to just nine, the resultant design is often referred to as the Sd.Kfz.250 NEU. Production of nearly 2,400 vehicles continued till July 1944. Importantly, Dragon is again offering 1/35 scale Premium Edition plastic kits of it. What is particularly notable is that Dragon is the only kit manufacturer to offer the Sd.Kfz.250 NEU in 1/35 scale! Item No. 6476 represents the base version, the Sd.Kfz.250/1 NEU that had two MG34 machine guns.
