The 2-axle box trailer reflects its attractive craftsmanship and appearance, both in the original and in the model, making it a distinctive companion on real roads and, in the model, on the track. Combined with the TAMIYA Volvo FH16 timber transporter and the box body conversion kit (500907732), this articulated truck becomes a workhorse and is in no way inferior to the original. The solid sheet steel frame allows a payload of approximately 5,000g. To further enhance the 2-axle box trailer, an optional accessory kit (item no. 500907623, including a spare wheel and bracket, two compressed air tanks, and a tie-down kit) is available. For use on the TAMIYA Volvo FH16 tractor unit, the CARSON drawbar (item no. 500907182) is required; it is mounted on the existing frame end cross member.
