1:32 Lotus 79 #5 Andretti W.C. 1978 HD

Scalextric Lotus 79 #5 Andretti 1978 brings the shape of a World Champion Formula 1 car into 1:32 slot racing with a black and gold livery, open cockpit and the low, winged profile that defined its era. Set on the rails, the car combines historic motorsport character with the focused feel of a single-seater built for fast circuit running. The bodywork carries period markings such as John Player Special, OLYMPUS CAMERAS and Valvoline, with the number 5 placed into the race layout seen across the nose, side and rear sections. A silver driver helmet with red striping sits in the cockpit, adding a clear focal point when the car is viewed from above or from the side of the track. The front wing, rear wing, sidepods and exposed wheel layout give the model the unmistakable proportions of a late 1970s Grand Prix machine. Close-up views also reveal details around the rear section, where the wing, engine area and upper body surfaces add extra visual depth. On a home circuit, the 1:32 scale suits close racing, lane changes and repeated laps where the long, low silhouette stays easy to read through bends and straights. The same detailing also gives the car a strong shelf presence between sessions, especially when the black finish, gold pinstriping and race graphics are seen from a side or top angle.
