1:32 TORNADO GR.1 Desert Storm

Tornado GR.1 Desert Storm brings the British Royal Air Force strike aircraft into a 1:32 model kit format with a strong focus on the aircraft used during the 1991 Gulf War. The larger scale gives the twin-engine, two-seat layout room to stand out, while the swept wing profile gives the finished aircraft a recognisable combat silhouette. The original Tornado project grew from a collaboration between Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom to create a high-performance multirole combat aircraft. In GR.1 form, the aircraft served as the British Royal Air Force designation of the Tornado IDS, the Interdictor/Strike variant developed for attack missions. Its variable-geometry wings were part of a design shaped for low-altitude supersonic strike work and terrain-following flight, giving this subject a clear technical identity beyond its Desert Storm markings. The 14 years marking places this build in a more advanced model-making range.
