The Italeri M110 Self Propelled Howitzer brings a major U.S. Army artillery vehicle into 1:35 scale with a finished length of 25.8 cm and the long, elevated profile that defines the M110 A1. As a detailed assembly kit, it focuses on the tracked chassis, open gun platform and 203 mm M201 gun that gave the full-size vehicle its long-range field role. The M-110 series entered service in the 1960s, and the 1977 updates to the M-110 A1 improved operational efficiency while retaining the reliable chassis shared with the M-107. That historical basis gives the build a clear technical identity, from the rear spade arrangement used during firing positions to the broad tracked layout associated with self-propelled artillery. New gluable rubber tracks add flexibility during construction, while the decal sheet supports 4 different marking versions drawn from U.S. Army service. Figures are not included.
