1:72 Troupe alliée "The Grays

Italeri The Grays presents a 1:72 scale Confederate troop set built for historical scenes with strong visual variety. The box contains 50 figures and 1 rider, giving a broad base for arranging infantry lines, command positions, and cavalry presence across a Civil War layout. The subject draws on Confederate troops formed from 1861 onward, with a strong connection to Virginia volunteers rather than a fully standardised professional force. That background supports the set's varied uniform appearance, which helps a finished scene look more authentic when figures are painted and grouped in different roles. Rifles, kneeling poses, standing poses, advancing stances, and a flag-bearing figure create movement across the formation instead of a single repeated silhouette. The unassembled parts are moulded on sprues, allowing each figure to be prepared, painted, and placed with control over spacing and composition. With a stated assembly time of 600 minutes, this kit suits a longer bench project focused on painting, arrangement, and historical atmosphere. On a display base, in a battlefield diorama, or alongside other 1:72 military subjects, The Grays adds scale depth and a clear period character through its mix of infantry poses and mounted detail.
