1:72 Austrian & Russian General Staff

Italeri Austrian & Russian General Staff 1:72 brings a defined command scene into Napoleonic model building with 5 riders and 34 figures arranged around the allied leadership of Austria and Russia. The combination of mounted and standing poses gives a diorama base the structure of a parade, briefing, or pre-battle assembly rather than a generic troop grouping. The historical reference in the source material points to a moment before the Battle of Austerlitz in December 1805, when the Third Coalition faced Napoleon's Grande Armée. That setting gives the figures a precise place within early 19th century military displays and helps connect them with campaign-based layouts, staff scenes, and larger battlefield compositions. In 1:72 scale, the set fits naturally alongside other period troops, artillery, and cavalry used in the same modelling range. Painting sessions can focus on contrasting uniforms, mounted details, and the visual hierarchy between officers, rulers, and attendants. Once placed on a terrain base, the 39-piece group can anchor a headquarters vignette, a ceremonial review, or a wider historical arrangement built around the events of 1805. Age marking: 14 years
