IT Noir (Acryl Model Wash)

Italeri Model Wash Black is a 20 ml acrylic wash created for model finishing, where dark tone and fluid application help bring out recessed lines, surface texture and small structural details. On a painted model, the black wash can be guided into panel lines, around rivets or across textured areas to create stronger definition and a more realistic, used appearance. The bottle format keeps the wash ready for measured application at the workbench, and the acrylic formulation suits layered finishing on scale builds. Instead of covering a surface like a base coat, a wash is used in smaller amounts to deepen shadows, separate adjoining shapes and add visual contrast in corners and recesses. Black is especially useful where a build needs crisp line emphasis, engine grime, worn edges or darker tonal variation across armour, vehicles, aircraft or other detailed subjects. Within a painting routine, this wash fits after the main colour stages, when finer surface character starts to matter.
