1:14 Lift Axle, conversion kit, trailer upgrade

A lift axle is a defining detail on many full-size trailers, and this 1:14 conversion kit brings that function into a scale workshop project for CARSON 3-axle trailers of the II and III generation. Built for one trailer axle with dummy air suspension, the set converts it into a working lift system with a clearly visible axle movement of about 6 mm. The mechanism is driven by a digital servo and uses an aluminum servo mount, an aluminum servo horn, new mounting brackets, air bellows and mounts, plus a steel lift mechanism to create the lifting action. Mounting hardware is included for the installation. A suitable servo with at least 10 kg torque is required separately; comparable dimensions are 40 x 20 x 38 mm. The kit is compatible with Fliegl Megarunner, Stake trailer III, Flatbed trailer III, Trailer chassis III, Building materials trailer III, Box trailer III, and all 2nd generation trailers. Installation in tipper models is not possible. On a finished trailer, the raised axle changes the stance in a way that looks closer to a working road-going combination. In the workshop phase, the conversion adds a focused mechanical upgrade that suits model-building enthusiasts who enjoy functional trailer details as much as the final appearance.
