Specter 6S jumps 36.9 metre
TAMIYA and CARSON-MODEL SPORT on the hunt for the WORLD RECORD
A sensational success for the Specter 6S during the 15th jubilee of the TAMIYA FIGHTER CUP at Sonneberg. With the powerful buggy Specter 6S of CARSON-MODEL SPORT the longest jump by a radio controlled model car was succeeded - 36,90 metre. For this intention this robust buggy with its robust aluminium chassis and its husky brushless system was the perfect "tool" particularly with regard to its brute brushless motor which slingshots the Specter up to 100 km/h.
Two other record attempts were made with the Fighter buggy. These must now be approved officially and be acclaimed, however the response of the Fighter buggies and of the Specter 6S was proved imposingly, above all the three attempts were taken by unmodified cars.

11,1 V for the XL brushless system
It’s not a loss to use 11,1 V for the 1:8 brushless models! Due to the steady fitting and extreme high engine torque the low priced 3-celled LiPo accumulators are made for action fun on the racetrack. Tests with 4-celled accumulators have showed that the maximum speed vary only to 5-8 km/h.
